Above the crowded, chaotic streets of busy life, yet still upon a hard and unforgiving surface, the subject seems to have no other choices with more compassion than the searing hot roof and the sun as the one in control. Things are just out of reach as she is exposed to those that are only above street life and not upon or below it suggesting a higher purpose to her. Amazing complexity here. The simple choice to open her eyes is the only one presented to her but if she does there is nothing to see but a blinding glare which to me represents that blindness of the hectic, ongoing, non-stop world who has not had the opportunity given to her or chooses not to have the opportunity given to explore or not to explore her deepest and most sensitive parts within her and outside of her, a seemingly elusive knowledge of Self. The choice of the outside world I see in contrast to the lone subject. I also see hesitation from her of exploring all aspects of herself perhaps from fear or simply not wanting to carry it out on both a physical and mental level and also a spiritual level which is suggested by her body language. Nice work!
